Main Responsibilities

With the support of his team, the Technical Sales Representative participates in the development of the company's sales policy.

This is a job in which the Sales Director is responsible for a wide range of tasks. They work at several levels of the sales chain, starting with prospecting and development. The Sales Technician must identify sales opportunities and prospect for new customers using a variety of sales techniques (mailing, phoning, face-to-face meetings, etc.). They must also build loyalty with existing customers and develop sales.

Technical Sales Representatives understand their customers' needs by analysing their expectations, constraints and requirements. To do this, they know how to ask the right questions and propose solutions tailored to each situation. They are also able to advise customers by suggesting products or services tailored to their needs. They guide customers in their choice by explaining the advantages and disadvantages of each product or service.

Sales negotiation is part of their day-to-day work. Technico-Commercials know how to anticipate customer objections thanks to their in-depth knowledge of products and services, and must be able to negotiate in order to obtain the best possible sales conditions.

The Technical Sales Representative is responsible for monitoring sales and customers, and solving any problems that may arise. They must also pass on information to their superiors in order to improve the quality of the products or services offered.

Finally, they manage a sales team and may be required to offer training courses to employees.
